GEAPS Offers Intro to Grain Operations Course

GEAPS 500: Intro to Grain Operations is an entry-level course from the GEAPS/Kansas State University Distance Education Program identifies the main types of grain elevators, how grain moves through the facility and the main functions of common grain facility equipment.

Lectures include:

  • Inbound receiving operations
  • Grain sampling and testing
  • Maintenance and record-keeping programs
  • Shipping

GEAPS 500 is one of six courses required for the Credential in Grain Operations Management.

Course Dates: January 7-February 11

Cost: $700 GEAPS members, $965 non-members
