GEAPS, K-State Offer Online Courses for May
Courses focus on grain quality management, grain dust explosions, and facility planning, design
Registration is now open for five online courses from the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) and Kansas State University (K-State) Distance Education Program.
These online courses run from May 12-June 16. Registration closes Wednesday, May 6.
GEAPS/K-State distance education courses can help improve your job skills and make you more valuable to employers by exposing you to issues, standards and best practices from across the industry.
The classes are online, and can be completed as your schedule allows.

GEAPS 511: Grain Facilities Planning and Design II; Some lectures revisit topics from GEAPS 510: Facilities Planning and Design 1 in more depth.
GEAPS and Kansas State University offer formal credentials that provide a baseline of industry knowledge. Once you complete the six basic courses, you can build on that knowledge and continue your journey with specialist credentials. If you have the determination to complete 180 hours of training, your hard work is rewarded with a master credential.
