In an ongoing effort to strengthen its environmental safety, employee health and employee safety standards,The Gavilon Group adds Barry Brandstetter as vice president, environmental, health & safety.
Brandstetter brings more than 20 years of experience in environmental, health and safety operations. In addition to his experience in developing and deploying health and safety strategies for eliminating serious injuries and fatalities, he has a strong background in commercial grain production and risk management.
Prior to starting his career in the grain industry, he earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Illinois and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
In addition to appointing Brandstetter as vice president, environmental, health and safety, Gavilon has reorganized its operations and environmental, health and safety teams. These steps, coupled with the organization’s ongoing commitment to safety and excellence, will allow Gavilon to better serve the needs of its customers and employees.
