A fundraising effort is underway for the family of the Minnesota man who was killed in a workplace accident last week.
John Evers, a 67-year-old Wabasha resident, died Monday evening in a grain bin at Gerken's Feed and Grain.
A friend of the family has launched a GoFundMe on their behalf, with a goal of $50,000 to help them cover expenses. As of this writing, the effort has raised over $2,000.
