No injuries were reported after a fire broke out Friday afternoon at a livestock feed plant in Sioux City, IA.
Siouxland Proud reports that crews were called to reports of an explosion and fire at Feed Energy Company around 4:30 p.m. Friday, after a vegetable oil tank at the facility caught fire.
The facility processes vegetable oil for use in poultry and swine feeds.
Some structural elements of the facility were damaged in the fire, though the extent of the damage is not known.
