Wisconsin State Farmer’s Carol Spaeth-Bauer reported on the death of a fifth Didion Milling employee, Carlos 'Charly' Nunez, who died of his injuries on June 23. Nunez along with Duelle Block, Robert Goodenow, Pawel Tordoff and Angel Reyes, died either during the initial explosion on May 31, or from injuries caused by the explosion. It is reported that one more employee is still hospitalized due to injuries suffered during the explosion.
The local community has rallied around the families affected by the explosion, raising money and goods to support them.
