Federated Co-operatives Ltd. (FCL) has reached a deal to purchase Terra Grain Fuels’ (TGF) 150-million-litre ethanol plant, located near Belle Plain, SK, reports The Western Producer.
The company will now be able to produce its own ethanol, says Pam Skotnisky, vice president of strategy at FCL.
Skotnisky said this deal gives FCL an opportunity to expand its relationships with the more than 400 producers that supply grain to TGF.
