Fairview Mills Expands Feed Capacity

Company enters into agreement with United Farmers' Cooperative in Elwood, KS

Fairview Mills, a division of J-Six Enterprises, Seneca, KS, entered into a purchase agreement with United Farmers’ Cooperative to acquire feed milling assets in Elwood, KS, according to a report at Pet Business.

These assets consist of a fully operational feed mill along with a 20,000-square-foot warehouse sitting on six acres. The bin pack capacity exceeds 1,200 tons for raw materials and 500 tons of finished product storage. The blending and conveying systems are designed for quick cycle times and have been updated within the last 12 months. The facility also features a pellet mill, boiler and bagging equipment.
