The International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo runs through Thursday at the CenturyLink Center Omaha, NE, and features 350 exhibits and 570 ethanol producers from North America, Europe and Asia.
The Omaha World-Herald reports about 2,000 people will attend, making it the biggest such conference in recent years.
John Nelson, marketing director for BBI International, which sponsors the annual event, says attendance is growing at the conventions as the ethanol industry gains strength.
