The KAAPA Ethanol Ravenna plant in Nebraska has boosted ethanol production by 47 million gallons annually, reports the Kearney Hub.

Plant Manager Mitch Feldman highlighted a huge pile of corn on the ground that's an important companion to additional upright grain storage, the newest fermenter, and a new 2.8 million-gallon tank that will double ethanol storage in gallons and days’ worth of production.

Chuck Woodside, CEO, said the $50 million invested at the Ravenna site since 2016 has included the new storage tank, paved roads, four new 117-foot scales (three replaced and one added) and an overall redesign of traffic patterns.
