Crown Iron Works, a division of CPM Holdings Inc., officially broke ground on its new headquarters in Blaine, MN.

ABC Newspapers reports the groundbreaking ceremony was held in October to celebrate the new location for the global oilseed processor. The new facility will also include an innovation center with a pilot plant, according to the company.

The $12 million facility is being built by Mortenson Construction. Crown expects the 68,000-square-foot building can house an increase of 37 percent in its headquarters staff over the previous location in Roseville.
