Ohio's Country Journal's Ty Higgins and Matt Reese reported on the continuing cleanup effort at Miami Valley Feed and Grain in New Carlisle, OH. On Jan. 21 a grain bin at the facility collapsed spilling 365,000 bushels of corn worth $1.25 million. The resulting tsunami of grain destroyed several buildings and took out power to the surrounding area along with burying the nearby road. Luckily no one was injured and according to an interview with the owner, Sam Sutherly, the grain is recoverable.
