A Butterball poultry feed mill is being constructed outside Yellville, AR, reports KY3.
Vernon Felts, Butterball senior director of live operations, said the site was chosen because of access to three-phase power, good solid road transportation, access to natural gas, the elevation and terrain, and access to railroad service.
The mayor of Yellville said this has been in the works for a couple of years.
The feed mill will supply the 100 turkey farms in the area, said Felts.
