Education program at Exchange 2019 offers something for every level

The Grain Elevator and Processing Society's Exchange 2019 kicked off in New Orleans on Sunday March 10. The conference and expo features a trade show with more than 350 exhibitors, nearly 40 hours of education and several social events.

The Exchange offers a variety of sessions in different formats, tailored for individual levels of industry knowledge, all focused on learning new ways to improve operations at your facility. All sessions are based on GEAPS’ core competencies, and some qualify for partial continuing education unit (CEU) credit.

Ability Level Definitions:

  • Advanced: Learner has advanced understanding of the industry. A session at this level might cover strategic and complex ideas, research, technologies and subjects. This session is best suited for experienced professionals in the industry.
  • Mid-Level: Learner assumes solid knowledge of concepts of the industry. A session at this level might describe systems and procedures of moderately complex topics.
  • Basic: Learner assumes some basic knowledge and exposure to the industry. A session at this level presents an overview of concepts and features and is best suited for newer professionals.
