China's demand for Brazil's soybean crop because of the ongoing trade dispute with the United States, may cause a shortage at Brazilian processors. Ana Mano with Reuters and published in The Gazette reported on this odd posable consequence from the ongoing trade dispute between the U.S. and China.

Brazil has had to import soybeans before to run processors, but Brazil was expected to produce 118.9 million tonnes and only export 72 million tonnes. For now, Brazil is sticking with 72 million tonnes as it's estimated soybean exports, in part because of concerns over freight costs.
