AFIA Launches Digital Dialogues Series

Industry leaders can learn about current market fluctuations taking place and impact on future business

The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) is bringing a new, online program to the animal food industry, offering industry leaders the opportunity to learn about current market fluctuations taking place and their impact on future business.

The new AFIA Digital Dialogues will specifically focus on the current issues affecting the liquid supplement, feed, ingredient and equipment manufacturing sectors.

“If your animal food business is affected by changing weather patterns or volatile markets, then the American Feed Industry Association’s new webinar series will be very helpful to you,” said Veronica Rovelli, AFIA’s senior director of meetings and events. “Given ongoing company travel restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic, the AFIA continues to look for ways to make educational content accessible for our members so they can stay competitive in an ever-changing world.”

The three-part webinar series will take place Oct. 13-15 for one hour each day, starting at 3 p.m. ET. The webinar series agenda includes:

  • A weather outlook by Art Douglas, Ph.D., of Creighton University
  • A global market outlook by Don Close of Rabo AgriFinance
  • A cattle outlook by Randy Blach of CattleFax

Individuals are encouraged to register by Tuesday, Sept. 29, to receive the discounted early-bird rate of $90 for AFIA members and $180 for non-members.
