ADM's Luciano Honored During National Hispanic Heritage Month

Chairman and CEO Juan Luciano has received two awards honoring his service and leadership as part of National Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15 to October 15.

Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs named Luciano the 2020 recipient of the Outstanding Service in Business award, an annual recognition given to celebrate Hispanic and Latino leaders in Illinois.

“It is my honor to name Chairman Juan Luciano this year’s recipient for Outstanding Service in Business,” Frerichs says. “It is important that we celebrate those who have paved the way before us, but this is also an opportunity to highlight the great work leaders like Chairman Luciano are doing in their respective industries and communities.”

Luciano was also recognized during Latino Leaders magazine’s The Maestros, a gathering of influential Latino leaders in Chicago. Luciano is the 2020 Chicago Maestro award recipient for Professional Achievement, recognizing senior leaders who have made an exceptional difference for their teams, organizations and industries over the course of their careers.

We’re so proud to present him with the Maestro Award.”

Under Luciano’s leadership, ADM has undergone a remarkable evolution into global nutrition with an industry-leading array of ingredients, product formulations and solutions. Luciano has spearheaded focuses on innovation and sustainability and led a strategic growth campaign that has expanded ADM’s global footprint, building capabilities and adding talent and expertise that allow it to create value at every part of the global value chain.

Luciano serves on the Global Advisory Board of the Kellogg School of Management and is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, the Commercial Club of Chicago, the Business Roundtable, and the United States-China Business Council. He holds an industrial engineering degree from the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology.
