Union Iron Promotes Jonathan Simmons
To sales and marketing manager
Union Iron announced that Jonathan Simmons has been promoted to the Sales and Marketing Manager Position and started his new role on Jan. 7.
Jonathan will be responsible for overseeing the daily sales and marketing operations in order to achieve sales goals and maintain efficient sales operations. Additionally, he will work with the general manager to assist in the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans to maximize sales and expand market territory.
Jonathan has almost 10 years of Sales and Marketing experience with Union Iron. He started his career at UIW as a Sales Engineer and was promoted to a Regional Sales Manager and then to the Outside Sales Manager position. He has shown significant motivation for his own career development and has proven to be a great asset to the Union Iron team.
Jonathan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Eastern Illinois University, and was a member of the Illinois National Guard.
