FIAAP, Asia/Pacific’s only dedicated exhibition for animal feed ingredients, additives and formulation will once again be co-located with VICTAM Asia, Asia’s largest animal feed processing exhibition and also GRAPAS Asia the region’s premier show for rice & flour milling and grain processing.
FIAAP Asia 2014, VICTAM Asia 2014 and GRAPAS Asia 2014 will once again be held in the magnificent BITEC (Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre) exhibition halls from April 8–10, 2014.
BITEC, a modern, fully air-conditioned purpose built exhibition centre is just 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Bangkok now the centre is connected to Bangkok’s efficient sky train system.
Both local and international exhibitors at FIAAP will be displaying the latest specialist additives, ingredients and formulation required for the safe and economic production of animal feeds, dry petfood and aquafeed. Whilst at VICTAM senior industry executives will be able to view and touch the latest systems and technology used for the processing of safe and cost effective animal feeds, dry petfood and aquafeed. The exhibitors at GRAPAS Asia will have the latest technology for the milling of rice and flour on display, together with systems for the storage, moving, preserving and transportation of grains.
6200 visitors from all over the important Asia/Pacific region and beyond came to Bangkok for the 2012 shows to see the latest developments and ingredients used in the production of animal feed and grain processing. They weren’t disappointed as there were almost 200 exhibitors from all over the world displaying enzymes, amino acids, flavours, formulation programs, pellet and hammer mills, extruders, dryers, silos conveyors, plansifters, colour sorting machines and much, much more. There was plenty to keep the visitors busy over the three days.
There was also a series of conferences and technical presentations. They were on the following subjects:
Animal feed ingredients
Thai feed production
Rice & flour milling
Grain processing & preservation
The VICTAM exhibition has recently expanded its profile to include biomass pelleting. This is because so many of its exhibitors also specialise in biomass pelleting technology. Biomass pellets are made from any organic waste and are very dense. Once pelletized, the pellets are burnt as a green alternative energy source. They can be burned on domestic stoves or industrially as a fuel for a power plant.
The visitors to the FIAAP & VICTAM shows comprised CEO’s and directors, mill managers, nutritionists, feed formulators, vets, transport managers, etc. They came from animal feed mills, aquafeed mills, integrators, large farms, home farm mixers and co-operatives, fish farms and hatcheries and dry petfood processors, etc. Visitors to GRAPAS were once again the senior executives – CEO’s, directors, mill managers, transportation managers, nutritionists, etc.
The event had and has the support of the Thai Ministries and Associations as shown here. Thai Ministry of Agriculture & Co-Operatives, Thai Department of Livestock Development, Thai Rice Milling Association, Thai Department of Fisheries, Thai Feed Mill Association, Thai Chamber of Commerce.
