Michael Torrey Associates welcomed Sarah Hubbart to the government relations and association management firm on October 22.

In her role as Manager of Federal Affairs, she will help provide legislative and policy guidance and representation to clients representing the food, agriculture, and financial services industries. Hubbart will also explore new efforts to enhance the firm’s strategic communications.

“We are pleased to welcome Sarah to the firm,” said firm president Michael Torrey.  “Her background will help us continue to find new ways to better serve our clients.”

Hubbart previously served as Communications Director for the Animal Agriculture Alliance, where she managed all aspects of the organization's media relations strategy and led a variety of marketing and educational communications initiatives. Hubbart earned a degree in agricultural communications and political science from California State University, Chico and is completing a graduate degree at George Washington University. She grew up in Northern California’s farm country.
