Feed Energy Hosts Mexican Ag Delegation
Bringing buyers on a trip across Iowa
Today Feed Energy and FEC Solutions hosted a delegation of agriculture commodity buyers from Mexico as part of their four-day trip across Iowa organized by the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
In addition to visiting Feed Energy and FEC Solutions, the trade mission included visits to Lincolnway Energy in Nevada, Cargill in Iowa Falls and several grain cooperatives throughout the state.
"I have been to Iowa many times over the years, and this particular trip provided important exposure to a wide variety of companies," said Ricardo Celma Alvarez of Agri tendencias y Servicios, which provides commodity guidance to Mexican agricultural firms. "Two things here interested me. First, the emphasis that the company has on quality and that there is real interest in doing business in Mexico. There is definately a place in the Mexican marketplace for quality products."
