Registration Open for the 2012 Import/Export Seminar
Speakers include representatives from USDA, FAS and FDA
The American Feed Industry Association will host the Import/Export Seminar Dec. 4-5 in Arlington, VA, at the Renaissance ArlingtonĀ Capital View. Created out of a recognized need for education and discussion on regulatory trade requirements for the feed, ingredient and pet food industries, the Import/Export Seminar will feature executive-level representatives from various government institutions who will provide pertinent information about their agencies as they pertain to the trade of feed, ingredients and pet food.

Participants will learn about current constraints and how they can support the efforts of the varying agencies. Speakers include experts from the Office of the United States Trade Representative (Executive Office of the President), the U.S. Department of Agricultureās Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, the Foreign Agricultural Service and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Through regional trade updates and question-and-answer sessions, the seminar will provide details about the roles of the different government agencies and available resources.
