OPI-integris Raises $80,000 for St. Jude

Donated aeration system for annual benefit

What do you get when you mix football, good food and friends? A party of course! That was the case in Jonesboro, AR where more than 1,300 people gathered for the 19th annual St. Jude S'travaganza. Organized by Jonesboro-based Valley View Agri-Systems business owners Susan and Fred Cathcart, whose nine year old daughter daughter Donna lost her fight with brain cancer in 1993, S'travaganza 2012 cleared a record $313,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

One of this year's biggest contributions came from grain monitoring solutions provider OPI-integris, which donated one of their IntegrisPro Advanced Grain Management systems. Area farmer Mike Sullivan purchased the system for a whopping $80,000-making St. Jude's the evening's big winner! OPI-integris owner and CEO, Dave Crompton, was very pleased with the result of his company's donation,

"The research they're doing at St. Jude's is so important to children everywhere who are fighting cancer. We're thrilled that our IntegrisPro system helped raise so much money for this very worthy cause."

OPI-integris representatives will join Mike Sullivan, Fred Cathcart and other Valley View Agri-Systems team members in Memphis, TN later this summer, when they formally present the donation check to St. Jude's.
