Magnum System Hires Debra Weidert
Names new chief financial officer
Magnum Systems is pleased to announce Debra Weidert as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. Weidert has been with Magnum Systems and its subsidiary, Taylor Products, since 1997. Her appointment reflects Magnum Systems’ confidence in her fiscal oversight capabilities. Weidert formerly served as Magnum Systems’ corporate controller.
In this role, Ms. Weidert prepared the company’s annual budget, analyzed resulting variances each month, and reported financial results to the Board of Directors. In addition, she oversaw the company’s independent and bank auditing efforts. Ms. Weidert was also responsible for the preparation of external financial reporting and monitoring due diligence efforts.
Before joining Taylor Products in 1997, Ms. Weidert served as a budgets and costs estimating analyst at Day & Zimmermann, Inc. She graduated summa cum laude from Pittsburg State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree and is a certified public accountant and certified management accountant.
