Bartlett Grain Co. to Re-open Elevator by 2012 Harvest
Starting reconstruction on elevator that exploded in October, killing six
A northeastern Kansas grain elevator damaged in an explosion that killed six people is being demolished.
KQTV reports that officials of Bartlett Grain Co. in Atchison expect the work to wrap up in a month. Bartlett Grain spokeswoman Julie Sally says the company then plans to begin reconstruction immediately.
