USPOULTRY Recognizes Bill Bradley as Industry Workhorse of the Year
Poultry industry’s most esteemed honor
Bill Bradley, Vice President of Egg Division for CCF Brands, and 2008 U.S. Poultry & Egg Association chairman, was named Workhorse of the Year by USPOULTRY during the 2012 International Poultry Expo. The poultry industry’s most esteemed honor is given annually by USPOULTRY in recognition of dedicated service and valuable leadership given to the Association and poultry industry.
Bradley was “collared” with the long-established horse collar by 2011 Workhorse of the Year recipient, Monty Henderson. He was also presented with a commemorative plaque by 2011USPOULTRY chairman, Gary Cooper, Cooper Farms, Oakwood, OH.
“We are honored to recognize Bill with this special award and acknowledge his many contributions to the Association and the industry,” remarked Cooper. “Bill has committed a great deal of time and energy to help address and meet the challenges facing our industry every day. We are deeply appreciative of his leadership and commitment.”
After earning his BS at Oklahoma State University and his MS at Kansas State, Bradley began his career with DeKalb Poultry Research in Illinois. He later worked for Moark Productions in Missouri until 2002.
Bradley’s involvement with USPOULTRY spans 30 years on various committees and projects. U.S. Poultry & Egg Association is an all-feather organization representing the complete spectrum of today’s poultry industry, with a focus on progressively serving member companies through research, education, communication, and technical assistance. Founded in 1947, U.S. Poultry & Egg Association is based in Tucker, GA.
