Registration Open For NGFA 116th Annual Convention
Set for March 18-20 in Charleston, SC
With the New Year started, it’s time for NGFA members to get signed up for this year’s Annual Convention in Charleston!
This year’s convention again will provide the ultimate combination of high-level, business-focused programming with a bit of relaxation and socializing with industry colleagues in the genteel surroundings of Charleston.

Marc Freedman, (confirmed), Executive Director, Labor Law Policy, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Washington, D.C. – “Regulatory Overreach – Meeting the Challenge!”
Eric Conn, (confirmed), Head of OSHA Practice, Epstein Becker Green, Washington, D.C. (confirmed) – “Mitigating Safety and Health Risks in 2012 – A Management Perspective”
Industry Open Forums on Sunday afternoon will include the following:
Workshop on Complying with Food Safety Modernization Act – Featured presenters are David Fairfield, NGFA Director of Feed Services; and Matt Frederking, Director, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance, Ralco Nutrition Inc., Marshall, Minn.
Rail Open Forum – An examination of major STB issues, and a panel discussion on “Impacts of Domestic Energy/Oil Exploration on U.S. Rail, Truck Demand.”
And most NGFA committees will meet for work sessions during the convention – generally committee meetings are open to all NGFA members.
Several interesting tours are offered in the afternoons, along with the Foundation golf tournament and numerous social events.
