Ohio Couple Donates Money for Grain Rescue System to Fort Morrow Fire District
Paul and Susan Schweinfurth won and donated $2,500 to help area agricultural workers
When Paul and Susan Schweinfurth won $2,500 from America's Farmers Grow Communities to donate to a non-profit in their community, they chose the Fort Morrow Fire District for the purchase of a grain rescue system.
"It's not something that happens every day, but when someone is trapped in a grain bin, it can be a hazardous situation," said Paul Schweinfurth, a local farmer who understands the dangers a silo or grain elevator can hold.
