The well respected industry innovator started his company in Fort Worth, TX, in 1945
It is with great saddness that Hayes & Stolz Ind. Mfg. Co. LLC announces the passing of its founder, Mr. Vernon Hayes, on December 20, 2011.
The Hayes & Stolz team extends its deepest sympathy to Hayes' entire family.
Hayes, a Texas native born July 24, 1917, co-founded Hayes & Stolz of Ft. Worth, TX in 1945.
A devoted family man and businessman; he was well respected as an industry innovator and as a man of impeccable integrity.
While he retired from the day to day business activities in the early 1990s, he still came into the office for a few hours nearly every day until 2007, when his failing health eventually prohibited his daily office visits.
His legacy will live on in the company he worked so tirelessly and lovingly to build. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
