Grain Bin Catches Fire at AgVantage FS Elevator in Delmar, IA
Three area fire departments called to the scene
Corn was damaged in fire at a grain drying bin Thursday morning at the AgVantage FS elevator in Delmar, IA.
Delmar Fire Chief Dick Schneden said flames were coming from the grain bin when employees noticed the fire just after 8 a.m. at 502 Main St. When firefighters arrived, there were no longer any flames and the dryer had been shut down.
