GROWMARK System in Top Ten on Co-op 100 List
Ranked seventh, falling one place from last year
The GROWMARK System of cooperatives, headquartered in Bloomington, IL, was ranked seventh on the NCB Co-op 100 listing of the nation’s 100 highest revenue-earning cooperative businesses. GROWMARK was ranked sixth on the 2010 list.
The NCB Co-op 100 debuted in 1991, is the only yearly report of its kind to track cooperative revenues in the United States. The complete NCB Co-op 100 report is available at www.ncb.coop. Cooperatives in this year’s top 100 account for a combined revenue of more than $193 billion in 2010.
GROWMARK is a regional cooperative providing agriculture-related products and services, as well as grain marketing in 31 states and Ontario, Canada. GROWMARK owns the FS trademark, which is used by affiliated member cooperatives.
