Vita Plus Welcomes New Safety Director
Scott Hall to strengthen facility and trucking safety procedures
Scott Hall was recently named Vita Plus safety director. Based in Madison, WI, Hall will travel to Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin to further strengthen safety efforts and initiatives in all Vita Plus facilities and trucking operations. His key responsibilities will include providing guidance according to written safety procedures, loss prevention initiatives and legal requirements of Vita Plus. He will serve as a promoter of change in continually updating safety and procedural guidelines.
Hall earned a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering technology from the DeVry Institute of Technology and later earned a master’s degree from Central Missouri State University in industrial safety management. After serving in the Navy for six years, he worked in a variety of construction, manufacturing, and engineering safety specialist and manager roles. He has more than 20 years of experience in writing safety procedures, overseeing compliance with occupational safety programs and employee safety training.
