Man Rescued from Danbury, IA, Grain Elevator

Crews from five districts helped firefighters cut holes in the bin to relieve pressure and rescue the victim

Rescue crews in Danbury, Iowa and from miles around work for hours to free a man trapped in a grain elevator.

According to the Danbury Fire Department, the man became trapped in a bin at Danbury Ag Services on Highway 175 around 2:45 this afternoon. Fire and rescue crews from five local districts including Sioux City helped Danbury firefighters cut holes in the bin to relieve pressure and complete the rescue.
