Rugby Farmers Union Elevator in North Dakota Expands

Multimillion dollar expansion should be completed by mid September

The Rugby Farmers Union, Rugby, ND, elevator is undergoing a multimillion dollar expansion, which is expected to be completed in time for accepting grain by mid September, reports The Pierce County Tribune.

Vigen Construction is currently building three grain storage bins. When completed, each of the bins will be 144 feet tall, 65 feet in diameter and each will be able to hold 380,000 bushels. The project is expected to cost $5 million.

Increased capacity at the new elevator is expected to be over 3.5 million bushels.
