To accelerate growth, Douglas Products has added Vince Adams to the newly-created position of Chief Business Development Officer.
Adams comes to Douglas Products after serving as vice president of Innovation & Business Development with Winfield Solutions where he held managerial responsibility for Joint Ventures as well as product development and launch process for Crop Protection and Plant Nutrition Products. Over the past year Vince has served as a Business Development and Product Innovation consultant for multinational Crop Protection corporations in North and South America.
His career includes work in technical, sales, marketing and business development roles for companies that include Winfield Solutions, Stoller, FMC and Cytec. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
Long says the initial opportunities Adams will focus on include biologics, plant nutrition and crop protection. Agriculture has been the core business of Douglas Products for more than 100 years and the company also is a leader in specialty markets.
