Moisture Levels Push Producers to Dryers

In Nebraska, farmers worry about too much moisture on their crops

Chief Commercial Grain Dryers

In Nebraska, farmers are about a third of the way into harvest, but some farmers are having to worry about too much moisture on their crops, reports NTV.

Farmers are harvesting their crops but instead of taking the grain straight to their bins or the elevator, many are having to take it to the dryer.

With ideal moisture levels normally around 15%, farmers are seeing the levels as high as 23% in the state.
