STL. News has reported on an announcement from Wisconsin’s Harbor Assistance Program, which includes a $1.7 million investment at the Cenex Harvest States, Inc. (CHS.Inc) facility in Superior, WI. The grant will go towards installing sheet piling at the location in order to maintain a safe berth for vessels. The addition of the piling will extend the life of the grain elevator. The purpose of the program is to provide funding for harbor communities to maintain and improve waterborne commerce.
