GEAPS April Class Deadline Closes Tomorrow

Four courses cover facility planning, pest management, safety cultures and equipment maintenance

The Grain Elevator and Processing Society is offering four online courses on facility planning, pest management, safety cultures and equipment maintenance that will run from April 24 – May 26, 2017. The courses are put on in collaboration with Kansas State University as part of the GEAPS/Kansas State University distance education program, with three of the courses applying toward the program.

The courses offered are:

Learn about facility siting, rail and track layout, automation and control systems, and other topics related to improving and expanding facilities.

Learn how to prevent and manage insect infestations using practical chemical and nonchemical methods.

Lectures help you understand the concept of safety cultures, how to evaluate your company and how safety affects your facility’s bottom line.

Designed for more experienced professionals, this course helps you create a preventative maintenance program and deal with common repair issues.
