New Grain Facility for Union County, KY

Union County Grain Company grain elevator and river terminal will be ready by fall 2019

Union County Grain Company, Inc. announced the development of a new grain elevator and Ohio River terminal project in Union County, KY, on Tuesday, reports The Henderson Gleaner.

The new 1.2 million bushel, state-of-the-art grain elevator will consist of dual 24,000 bushels/hour dumps as well as 65,000 bushels/hour load-out capacity by truck or overland belt.

The river terminal will be connected to the storage facility by a 42-inch belt line, and consist of dual 65,000 bushels/hour truck dumps, and barge offloading capabilities of several different commodities.

The new elevator and river terminals are estimated to be ready to accept grain and or offload materials by the fall 2019.
