Sweet Manufacturing Co., founded in 1955, is a family-owned manufacturer of bulk material handling and conveying equipment. Galvanized construction provides long-lasting, low-maintenance equipment with no field welding.
With equipment sold worldwide, our customers vary from large export grain terminals and feed manufacturers to companies that elevate and convey seeds, flour, sugar and similar bulk or free-flowing materials.
Sweet products include Silver-Sweet® bucket elevators; Flite-Veyor® horizontal, incline and round-bottom drag conveyors; galvanized channel belt conveyors; Quick-Key® spool conveyors; Silver-Span® conveyor support systems; Goliath® support towers; and CalorMatic® heat processors.
Sweet also manufactures Silver Grip® grating and bin safety accessories including Spiral Silver Stairs®. Silver Grip® grating is rust-resistant, galvanized steel with our own unique slip-resistant, perforated surface. Rugged, one-piece construction with variable configuration for flexibility is available in widths of 24, 30 and 36 inches (60.96, 76.2 and 91.4 cm) and standard lengths of 10, 12 and 20 feet (3.03, 3.64 and 6.067 meters).
Sweet's CalorMatic® heat processor utilizes a fluidized air bed to dry, roast, toast, bake or sterilize a variety of free-flowing materials without direct flame contact to avoid scorching. The CalorMatic® provides variable control of operating temperature, product depth, retention time and airflow. Seven models are available in capacities from 1 to 15 tonnes per hour. Sweet is also now manufacturing EURO models for its European customers.
