Scoular announced today the return of its Perennial virtual symposium with additional events aimed specifically at women in agribusiness for the year 2024. Following the success of its inaugural event in September 2023, which saw over 250 attendees, the company is introducing a series of virtual lunch and learns alongside a half-day symposium set for September.

Organized by Scoular's female-focused employee resource group, Scoular Women Influencing Culture (SWIC), the series aims to provide leadership and career development opportunities for women in the agricultural sector. The events are part of Scoular's commitment to being a leader in supporting women within the industry by providing them with the skills and resources needed to advance their careers.

The virtual lunch and learns are scheduled for March 28, May 29, and July 11, leading up to the half-day virtual symposium on September 12. The symposium will cover a range of topics, including strategic ways to build consensus, innovative strategies for personal development plans, climbing the leadership ladder in agriculture, and leveraging technology to enhance career potential.

Megan Belcher, SWIC’s executive sponsor, expressed enthusiasm about the program's return and its aim to extend Scoular's networks and expertise to benefit women in agriculture collectively. The Perennial symposium and its additional programming underscore Scoular’s dedication to creating meaningful opportunities for women in agribusiness to thrive.

The virtual conference, set for September 8, 2023, includes several notable sessions and speakers:

  • The Curiosity Muscle: Unlocking the Innovator from Within by Diana Kander, a New York Times bestselling author and renowned innovation consultant. Kander's session will delve into how curiosity can serve as a catalyst for growth, encouraging attendees to ask better questions to achieve better results.
  • Personal Brand Workshop led by Elizabeth Rosenberg, founder of The Good Advice Company, and Sandra Hulm, VP General Manager Emerging Business at Scoular. This workshop will focus on authentic change and purposeful impact, guiding participants on how to uncover and amplify their purpose and narratives.
