Flexco Announces Changes to Executive Team

Thomas S. Wujek is promoted to president/COO

Flexco CEO Richard A. White recently appointed three new business leaders and announced new reporting structures designed to promote better alignment of programs and activities to more quickly bring highly-valued solutions to its customers.

Thomas S. Wujek, formerly executive vice president/COO, has been promoted to president/COO. With this appointment brings a new reporting structure.

Tammy Balogh, vice president of Human Resources; Glen Paradise, chief financial officer; Keith Staninger, chief digital officer; Chip Winiarski, chief marketing officer; Doug Saunders, director of manufacturing operations – North America; Frank Smith, director of IT; and leadership of our foreign subsidiaries will now be reporting directly to Wujek.

White will continue in the role of Chief Executive Officer as he transitions toward full retirement in May of 2021. In this role, White will continue to provide insights and guidance on company strategy, execution, and culture. He will remain involved in U.S. and subsidiary board/shareholder communications and relations, serve as chief legal liaison, and provide assistance with key distributors and customers.

“Tom has played an integral role in running the company since his appointment to executive vice president/COO in 2005,” White says. “He has extensive knowledge of our global organization and is well suited to take on these additional responsibilities.”

Chip Winiarski has also been promoted to chief marketing officer, responsible for Flexco’s global marketing, engineering, and strategic account efforts, as well as North American Sales.

“The alignment of Flexco sales, marketing, and engineering resources will more effectively position Flexco to better understand our customers’ needs and to develop and deliver solutions that are in concert with their operational goals,” Winiarski says.

New addition to Flexco

Flexco also welcomed Keith Staninger as chief digital officer. Staninger will be responsible for establishing and implementing digital technologies into Flexco’s customer offerings, while enabling strategic innovation and business transformation across the company. Staninger is also responsible for the global functional IT organization.

“It is very exciting to have a leadership role in combining Flexco’s passion for the customer, with new innovation and digital technologies,” Staninger says.

Focus on the future

Since 1907, Flexco has been committed to applying superior knowledge and products that make belt conveyor operation as productive as possible.
