Measurement and Information: The Currency of Grain Quality

Researchers and industry stakeholders from around the globe discussed ways to discover and market value-added qualities while keeping end-user utility in mind at last month's International Grain Quality and Technology Congress.

That innovation isn’t possible without the efforts of the global research community and events like the International Grain Quality and Technology Congress can serve as important reminders of what’s possible.

Traceability, accountability and assurance are the tools being used to hone and shape future innovation and opportunity. Whether you produce, channel, manufacture or feed grain products, if these tools can’t be found in your toolbox, then you’d better start doing some research of your own.

As for me, I can’t wait for the next Congress as it’s now part of my “must see” list of industry events. I hope to see more of you there, too, because the future of the feed and grain-related industries may depend on it.
