Deluxe Feeds Inc., a division of Kent Nutrition Group (KNG) in Muscatine, IA, welcomes Michael (Mike) Finch to their swine production service/sales team based in Sheldon, IA.
“With Mike’s vast swine industry knowledge, practical production experience and ties to northwest Iowa, he’s a perfect fit for our Deluxe swine team,” said Dan Paca, general manager of Deluxe Feeds Inc.
Originally from Hartley, IA, Finch has been involved in swine production for over 20 years. He gained practical swine production experience while working on his family’s operation with his father, Dr. Jerry Finch, DVM, who has served the Hartley and Spencer areas for nearly 30 years as a large animal Veterinarian at Animal Medical Centers. Finch has also worked with various area corporate swine operations, and prior to joining the Deluxe Feeds team, he served as a swine production specialist in northeast and central Iowa. A 2011 graduate of Iowa State University, Finch earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science.
When not working with swine producers, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and the outdoors, as he grew up close to the lakes. Finch is also a wrestling enthusiast, participating at both the high school and collegiate levels as a member of the Hartley High School and Iowa State University wrestling teams.
He will be working exclusively on swine production and service out of the Ireton and Sheldon locations. Deluxe Feeds is pleased to have Mike Finch back in northwest Iowa as part of the swine team.
